Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a national-level exam that is organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This exam is conducted two times a year. There are two papers in this exam: one is paper 1 which is for the teachers who want to teach from 1 to 5 classes, and the second is for the teachers who want to teach from 6 to 8.
